What the app does

Wi-Fi Scanner lists nearby Wi-Fi access points (name, signal strength, channel, band, security) and shows channel-congestion advice. It is a scanning utility.

Information the app itself collects

Location permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION): Android requires this permission for any app to read Wi-Fi scan results — it is a platform rule. We use it only to obtain the list of nearby Wi-Fi networks on your device. We do not collect, log, store, or share your geographic location.

Advertising (Google AdMob)
